• Dark Green Rugs: There are many common names which would encompass the shade of green. Names such as forest green, and hunter green are all on the darker side of the green family. This is an amazing color if you are thinking of cabin decor, or lodge decor.
• Sage Green Area Rugs: This is a very good looking color for green area rugs. It is a medium intensity shade of green with earthy tones. This the shade is extremely versatile in classic home decor and even farmhouse decor.
• Pastel Green Rugs: This is a light green with a light and summery feel. Paster has often been associated with island decor. I imagine Florida when I think of pastel green.
• Light Green Rugs: Light green has become fairly popular in recent years. You have many shades of light green, and they almost border the sage green mentioned above. What differentiates light green is that it is not as bold and as bright as a pastel green; and is usually lighter shade than the sage green.
• Olive Green Area Rugs: This color can be similar to the darker shades found in camouflage. It is a darker shade, but unlike forest green, it has a different hue.

Oval rugs have one big advantage - their corners don’t rise up. We have seen a lot of our customer love that about oval braided rugs. However, Homespice is the home of the rectangle braided rug ! Additionally your space defines it too. A small bathroom might need a small oval rug, whereas a large bathroom could use a rectangle rug in front of the shower or kitchen sink. Doorways also vary. Oval is a great small doorway rug, but for larger French doors you could go with a 4x6’ braided rug, rectangle shape. Along with color you also need to consider shapes. Both Oval braided rugs and rectangle braided rugs are popular. For the dining room rug we recommend you follow the shape of the table top. For kitchens and doorways we do sell about 60% oval braided rugs. One advantage of the oval rug is that the corners don’t rise.
