
The Atlanta based Home Décor wholesaler has been chosen as a Finalist for Smart Retailer Magazine’s highly coveted award.
Homespice Décor, a company specializing in braided rugs, classic american home décor, and primitive decor won the coveted prize in 2006 and is the only company to be chosen twice. The winner is chosen by votes collected from the magazine’s broad dealer base.
Smart Retailer magazine is the definitive resource for home décor store and gift stores since 1993.
Homespice caught Smart Retailer’s attention with its hands-on, family-oriented style of doing business.
“We simply live by a business ethic that puts the customer first,” says owner Junior A. Gupta. “We care about the boutiques that carry our products, we visit them and consider them a part of the Homespice family. We care about customer service – we don’t like “talking” to a machine when we call a company, and we don’t want our valuable retailers to deal with recordings when they call us. Having a human answer the phone seems like the natural way to treat customers. We don’t feel that it’s anything special.”
